Product Manager

Department: New Media | Division: Product Management | Type: Full time | Location: Mumbai


Responsibilities

  • Work with management to define product line goals.
  • Drive product and integration roadmap, including market segmentation and sizing, market and competitive analysis, technology trends to achieve product line goals.
  • Manage product requirement definition and feature identification for future initiatives, including documentation of prioritized feature sets and use cases.
  • Engage with development and QA teams at the appropriate times to realize the goals of the product.
  • Work with the release process and support teams to insure that the product is released successfully and any issues in production are resolved quickly.
  • Measure and analyze success of product or feature using internal tools as well as tools like Google Analytics.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of experience working in for consumer software companies or horizontal sites like Yahoo, Rediff etc.
  • Strong familiarity with product development, user flows and UI experience a plus.
  • Experience working with teams in rapid delivery environments.
  • Should have worked on projects involving teams of more than 8 people.
  • Proven track record of building creative and effective marketing materials.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage all phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Expertise with web analytic tools.
  • Excellent organizational, statistical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, written and oral presentation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SEO tricks and techniques is a huge plus.
