Product Manager
Department: New Media | Division: Product Management | Type: Full time | Location: Mumbai
Responsibilities
- Work with management to define product line goals.
- Drive product and integration roadmap, including market segmentation and sizing, market and competitive analysis, technology trends to achieve product line goals.
- Manage product requirement definition and feature identification for future initiatives, including documentation of prioritized feature sets and use cases.
- Engage with development and QA teams at the appropriate times to realize the goals of the product.
- Work with the release process and support teams to insure that the product is released successfully and any issues in production are resolved quickly.
- Measure and analyze success of product or feature using internal tools as well as tools like Google Analytics.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience working in for consumer software companies or horizontal sites like Yahoo, Rediff etc.
- Strong familiarity with product development, user flows and UI experience a plus.
- Experience working with teams in rapid delivery environments.
- Should have worked on projects involving teams of more than 8 people.
- Proven track record of building creative and effective marketing materials.
- Proven ability to successfully manage all phases of the product development lifecycle.
- Expertise with web analytic tools.
- Excellent organizational, statistical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, written and oral presentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics is preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO tricks and techniques is a huge plus.
